CASA is the #1 Boston soccer league for adult amateurs and we are excited to announce our NEW Summer 11v11 Champions League! 

The CASA Champions League is the perfect way to stay fit over the summer on Saturdays and prepare your club for their Fall 2022 campaign. As it is a Champions League, we're inviting clubs from any league in the area to prove they're the best!

Clubs will be set up in groups of groups of 6, and play 9 matches against teams of a similar skill level (in either the Champions, Europa, or Conference league levels). After each group stage, clubs will be promoted / relegated between levels, and second & third group stages will commence and another matches in each. Following each group stage, the same promotion / relegation process takes place.

Clubs will have the opportunity to earn cumulative prizes for winning group stages. Prizes will consist of a combination of credit towards the Fall 2022 CASA season, and credit towards spend at a local sponsor bar / brewery.

In an example, 18 teams total register and your club is placed in the Europa League. Your club wins the first group stage (winning $450 between 1st and 2nd place) and gets promoted to the Champions League for the second group stage. In the second group stage at the Champions League level, your club finishes 3rd (winning no prize money), and then wins the third Champions League group stage playoffs (winning $350). Prize money for three scenarios based on number of entrants below:

Format:

• ALL MATCHES played on Saturdays
• 9 matches guaranteed 
• First Group Stage takes place June 25, July 9, July 16 / 17 (for teams participating in Icarus Cup Philadelphia), July 23 and July 30
• Second Group Stage takes place August 6, August 13, August 20 and August 27
• Group Stage games ending in a draw will remain a draw 
• 11 v 11 soccer
• 90-minute games
• 3-Referee system ($100 per game paid by each team)
